what does the bluetooth do on my laptop and why is it on my laptop

can you use any bluetooth devices on your cell phone or do you have to get one for the phone you have

bluetooth on your pc allows you another option in transferring files to other bluetooth destinations. If you want to talk without holding the phone or using the speakerphone feature, than yes, you will need a separate bluetooth headset! Most phones have built in bluetooth for transferring files,(pics, contacts, music, however no ringtones or wall papers etc) not talking.
