Bluetooth won't work on Advent 5431

I recently bought an Advent 5431 laptop and it is advertised as having wireless bluetooth. I have found the programme however it just won't work, there is nothing in the manual concerning bluetooth apart from in the safety features where it says to be careful while using it. Can anyone help?
