Blurry eyesight?!?

Why does my eyesight get blurry sometimes? It isn't blurry all of the time, just sometimes for a second everything will go blurry, then my eyesight would go back to clear. Also, there are times when my eyes really hurt and I have to squint. Is this a good enough reason to go to an optometrist?

  1. Mine did that, especially after sitting up after waking but often just randomly. Is it like a fog that feels as if it is being pulled over your eyes? Does it give you a headache. I ignored it but then had a really bad one - lost sight for a minute - and went to opticians. Worn glasses since! I'd go, if you do have a problem, they'll help, if you don't, you can stop worrying! If you don't like the idea of wearing glasses, try contacts. (Not that I'm saying you'll need them.)

  2. maybe you have an astigmitism or something...i would definetly go to an eye doctor asap

  3. probably.. I had similar problems and didn't know just how blind I was until I finally went and got glasses  :P

  4. Talk to an eye doctor, take a test or you might have to get glasses. you can get the lensesafter you get glasses. that's what i have to do, i squint all the time!

  5. yea you should go get that checked out. my eyes used to do that junk and i went and i had a slight stigmatism... and they said my allergies didnt help it none cause my eyes got upset and stuff....  hope i helped

  6. It can sometimes go, but usually, this is corrected with glasses, and most of the time, it's associated with brain problems, but i highly doubt it. This is enough symptoms to talk to your optometrist about.

  7. yes, i have that same problem, sometimes it is blurry in a certain spot in my right eye then it switches to my left, but my mom thinks im faking and wont take me to the optomitrist, my eyesight is great most of the time, n=but on occasion, it blurs only for a moment, at 1st i thought i had something in my eye. I didnt! now im know im not the only one with that problem

  8. Consult a eye doctor.

  9. These are the body's ways of telling us that we are using our eyes, mind, and body together incorrectly. Everybody goes through this when they start to get blurry vision and get glasses. Most people were too young to be aware of what your going through right now. These people just got used to the strain and tension you are feeling now in order to see clearly through their glasses.

Natural Eyesight Students experience the opposite. They recognise and avoid the incorrect vision habits and relearn and reintegrate the correct vision behaviors. As they do this they experience an incredible release of tension in their neck, head, face, and shoulders. They also get flashes of clearer vision, without artificial corrections, more and more.

People who are experiencing what you are should go to a doctor to see what is going on. If the doctor says they just need glasses then I would be very weary. Glasses and other artificial corrections just lead us to more and more tension and strain and stronger and stronger artificial corrections. They don't address the real problems and vision just gets worse and worse and we become more and more dependant on our crutches of glasses and contacts.
