Question:

Blurry vision do I need glasses/contacts?

When I read a book and suddenly look outside the far away things are blurry, but things closer aren't. If I look for about ten minutes outside, the vision gets better and everything is more clear, and when I suddenly look inside my dark room, objects in the room are blurry. Does this has something to do with the light dim or my vision is blurry because it takes my eyes long to focus. Do I need contacts/glasses?

  1. yes because that is the same thing that happened to me so i went to the eye doctor and he told me i needed glasses. I kept my glasses for a year then got contacts. I recommend contacts!

  2. Yes And Im Sorry

  3. im kinda like that too i cant see the board in class even if im in the front, i cant read signs an sometimes things are blury far away too, i cant see c**p in the dark, an optromist at our school said i need glasses really bad , i donno about contacts if its not that bad but they still make contacts for that i think its called astigmatism or somthin so glasses would be a big help for whatever like driving or somthin so hope i help

  4. no just means that your eyes are adjusting to one thing too much and you should not allow them too

  5. no

  6. If your reading for a long period of time (i.e. an hour or more) then your eyes probably are just adjusting.  But if your only reading for a few minutes and your vision gets blurry then you should probably go and see your optometrist.  Also, if this becomes a serious issue or its bothering you then go see your optometrist.

  7. Could be several things one if your over 40 or close too it you may be presbyopia meaning old eye and you may need bifocals or multifoicals or no lines.

Could just mean you have dry eye.

could be diabetic or medical conditions could be going on .

Check to see if your insurance will cover an eye appointment and get into to see the Dr.

  8. Im not sure but it does sound like you need glasses,go make an appointment with the opticians and they'll be able to find out exactly what type of glasses you need and what's wrong with your eyesight.
