Is this even a serious question? The BMW of course...but why choose either when you could get a Mercedes C-Class

The Volvo has poor reports on road test for ride quality. The test I read basically seemed to think it was generally not very impressive overall. But of course it will be very safe.  The BMW will always get the vote of the 'go faster' brigade. If you like the drive and cabin, OK for you. However the reliability is not up to the image.
