Bmw 525 1991 display trouble shout?

Question

i bought bmw 525 1991 automatic in the begeing its speed was rising and falling when ever on d n or p but i just cleaned air flow meter it got ok but still some time it does but not that much,some time it just gets shut off once started then ok ,some time its getting over heating some body told me to empty th eair from radiater because it causes block in circulation and keep the water upto the mark on side box,well there is door open +ve on display and it keeps beeping ,catalyst +ve always on display lastly my computer checks the car through out its running usually it should read the status in the begining and finished mine is reading and there is display with door open beep all the time although doors are well closed
