2 days ago i learned a way to bunny hop higher on flat ground. Its just the pull up and level out thing but.... the beginning ( like below the toe area is on the pedals and your toes are "wrapped around the pedal" ) of my feet are on the pedals and im shooting out like at 60 degrees instead on 45 degrees

im wondering do i do this off of jumps or do i keep the middle of feet on the pedals like most people do

I can't level out right now either. I always land on my back wheel first

  1. When you are BMX jumping ... its just a matter of time to find your style .

are you new at BMX umping?

its all about balance ... if you find you are landing on ypur back wheel ... try to jump leaning forward a bit more and if you 'nose bonk' then lean back a bit .... try to be able to judge this in the air so that you can correct yourself midflight .

and in relation to your feet ... keep the centre of your foot on the centre of the pedal so that it is an equal centre of gravity .

just keep practicing and find your style an dyou should be fine :) GOOD LUCK !

  2. I'll be perfectly honest, bunny hopping and jumping are the hardest things to get the hang of and get down perfect, but once you do it because the most easy thing ever.

When I bunny hop I just have my feet comfortably centered on my pedals, not my toes wrapped around. I start by leaning back a little, then pointing my toes down, and extending my legs quickly. Then I continue to bring my arms up and forward and crouch in the air.  < That is how I bunny hop.

The leveling out part doesn't really matter, its just the way you ride, and how smooth it is and such.
