  1. yea it has nothing to do with how strong you are there was a point where i couldn't lift it up and i just kept trying to lift it up and eventually i like jumped up with it and bring the bars to my chest and from there on i tried to lift my back wheel and it was easy. keep your feet pressing against the pedals and pop your feet out backwards

  2. you just need to build up some more muscle. Keep trying and eventually you will have the strength and technique to do it.

  3. First of all don't worry that you didn't get it first time, it can take a load of practice. To hop, it helps to know who to manual as you move your body in a similar way. I'll explain both.

Try and find some short grass to practice on, if you fall (which is inevitable) you won't hurt too bad. If you need more speed get padded up and practice on concrete.

Before you do any trick it's helpful to watch videos. I slow motion them so I can really get an idea of what to do. BELIEVE you can do the trick every time you try it, never give up. Ok now for the tech:

    To Manual

Go at a moderate speed and when you're ready, in a smooth motion pull your bars up and move your bum over the back wheel. Keep your knees bent so you can edge your bum forward and back to keep your balance point, get this right and congratulate yourself on your first manual!

    To Bunnyhop

Go at a moderate speed, bend your knees, pull your bars (imagine you're pulling them right up to your chest, move your bum, but make sure your toes are pointing to the floor so that when your front wheel is high you can pull your legs up, with your feet pushing back into the pedals for grip, this will cause the back of the bike to rise in a hop. (Just pretend you're jumping like a rabbit, it helps me!)

You'll probably find bunnyhops easier than manuals. Good luck!
