Bmx - gyro help - 10points?

Question

i want to take my gyro brakes off, i have took the 2 gyro tabs off, but there is one below the bearings which i can't seem to get off???????? please help

take the forks out and tap the top cup from the inside with a chisel/old screwdriver and hammer.when tapping the bearing cup back on cover the cup with some wood and tap it back on with a hammer(the wood will stop damage occuring to the cup)

You don't say what type of freestyle bike you have, if you have one with a threadless steerer tube you can remove your Gyro parts by removing your stem (use metric tools) & if your cable guides are welded to the head tube you can hacksaw them off & file them smooth.( I don't recomend riding without rear brakes)

If it's welded tabs, cut it off with a hacksaw, and file the rough edges by hand (no power tools, heat will weaken the tubing). If not welded tabs, you'll have to remove the upper headset cup, then re-press it back on. Do a youtube search...
