Boa constrictor quest. when should i be concerned?

my boa has not defecated in 3 wks 3days,,, in the past,, 10 days at the most,, she is 32in long pastel she eats 2 young rats every fri.2in long or so.and she don't look bloated,,. but is not as active as she was month ago

She is probably about to shed, I wouldn't be concerned.

I have a few snakes, I've noticed at some times of the year (various times) they will refuse to eat and not go to the bathroom for any number of weeks, I have one that decided she would go 4 months without eating. It could be anything from the weather to constipation. I would recommend paying a lot of attention to her habits, try feeding her and see if that helps the process. Mine ALWAYS p**p in the bathtub. Try a warm (not hot at all) bath and let her relax, most of the time this will help their bodies expel anything that may be blocked.

Impaction and dehydration are the two main causes for a lack of defecation. Though some can go over a month, i feel this is the time to be concerned and contact a vet. Provide a water dish big enough for her to soak in if you don't already have one. The first thing you can try is to soak her for 20-30 minutes in luke warm water, this will usually stimulate a boul movement. If possible do this twice daily up to friday which will be 4 days. By friday If she has not defecated you can try a mild laxative. This can be done by using a small dropper with MINERAL OIL or a vegetable oil.

I know I've had my ball python for about 4-5 weeks, and she's only defecated twice. You might want to call a reptile vet. The feeding sounds good and you seem like a concerned and involved reptile owner, so I'm sure she'll be alright.
