Board Game help!!! help !! HELP!!?

Question

For my school Assignment I have to redesign a board game.

I am an international student and i never grew up with board games.I have no clue what variations they are.I tried tolook uo in the internet.I get the images but i dunno how to play them.I cannot design it unless I know how to play with it.

Can some one suggest me an easy game and also that does not have tons of cards ( if I have 52 cards I have to redesign all 52, by the time I get done I will be old he! he!)

also if pictures link are included it will behelpful..and of course how to play them

Why don't you take a look on the Board Game Geek website?  Pretty much any game you can think of is listed there, along with rules and pictures (or links to them).  Browsing through their lists and categories should bring up some simple games.

There's a game I love called 'Battleline' (which is actually a re-make of a German game called 'Schotten Totten').  It's a simple card game with a Greek/Persian war theme.  Many of the cards are the same design w/ different colors, and you could implement a new theme.

I WOULD SAY JENGA all u hav 2 do is well there is this tall tower of blocks bout up to my shins and its made of littler blocks u hav to pull a block from anywhere an not knock down the tower (need 2 or more players)
