What would be a good game for a couple to play? Or, if you don't want to answer that, guys what is your favorite board game?

There are lots of good board game and card game manufacturers.  Try board games by Avalon Hill,  Mayfair Games, Z-man games, Cheapass Games and of course Steve Jackson Games.  They have lots of cool, off beat games like Arkham Horror, Illuminatti, Family Business (gangster), etc.  Or check out a site like boardgamegeek.com or doordice.com.  Hope this helps!

Other good games with good strategy elements include Blue Moon ( http://www.starlitcitadel.com/games/blue... and Lost Cities (http://www.starlitcitadel.com/games/lost... both of which are a tad 'heavier' in the strategy side.

Have you ever played Mancala?  It is an ancient game, apparently simple but amazingly complex, and is very easy to learn.  Scrabble is good if you like word games.  How about card games such as cribbage?  Chess?  Checkers?  Backgammon?
