Board shorter than surf board?

whats the board called thats a bit shorter and fatter than a surfing board and u have to lay down on it..not stand up.

Belly board is what we called them.

The one pulled behind a boat that you kneel on was called a knee board.

Belly boards weren't fatter they were in fact thinner and were given the name of potatoe chips they were so thin So I am guessing you mean the morey boogie board whish is similar in thickness but much shorter or like another said the knee board and riders would lay on them to paddle them but ride them on their knees.
