  1. So I'm guessing you're new to snowboarding?  That's good, because you can get a great snowboard, bindings, and boots on eBay for a good price.  See, if you're a beginner, you don't need the super-advanced boards like the Vapor, or Custom X, etc.  In fact, getting one of those boards would just be stupid.  You can get a Burton Clash, Burton Blunt, or a Burton Elite(all great entry level-intermediate level boards) for pretty cheap of eBay.  Just be patient and you'll find a good deal.

I got a brand new Burton Elite+Bindings for $320, then a pair of $180 boots for $80.  eBay is the way to go, just make sure you do your research first.

  2. You sound spoiled. Get a job.

  3. Check out The House, they offer board, boot and binding packages at huge savings.  You should be able to find something in your price range.

  4. I got Lamar Boots , AMS Bindings , and a 164 CM Board for my big *** size 13 feet and height for under 200 dollars on Ebay. All of the products were New In Box. If you search on ebay you should find some great steals. I saved like 200 dollars because if I would have got those at a boardshop it would have emptied my wallet.

And you should not go out and buy a 400 dollars board in your first season. You might not like snowboarding no matter how cool you think it is from your couch.
