Boarding School ???

Question

Hi I live in Australia and

I have recently been thinking about boarding school for my last 4 years of school.(high school)

I am thinking of applying to Le Rosey (www.rosey.ch) a boarding school in Switzerland. I have a few questions about that

1. Can I apply if I live in Australia

2. Has anyone been their if so, what is it like? did you like it? whats an average day like?

3. If you haven't been their do you know what it's like academically? and dose it look like a good school to you?

Also anyone who goes to any boarding school or used too Can you tell me what your experience was like by answering these questions:

1. Was it your or your parents choice to go

2. Did you stay in your own state or go to a differnet state or country

3.Did you like it

4. What was an average day like

5.Any other info

Anything other info about boarding schools would be appreciated like Pros and Cons or Anything else you can think of?

I can't answer of your questions about the school, but oh how i dreamed of boarding school ! Lucky you. Download the applications from the site, fill them out and mail them in.

One word - FEES.

Boarding school costs an ENORMOUS amount of money. That one costs more than I earn. I'm sorry, I don't believe any school is worth that much - and I send my kids to private school.

Take off the rose-coloured glasses and go talk to your parents. Do they have several tens of thousands of dollars that they can afford to spend on your education before you even go to university? If not, you are wasting your time.
