Question:

Boarding Schools in NJ?

Hello,

I am going into 10th grade and am considering going to a private/boarding school. Some schools that I am heavily considering are : Peddie, Lawrenceville, and recently the Hun School. I play lacrosse. Lawrenceville's lacrosse team is 14th in the nation, so I would have to drop lax to go. I had a 3.7 gpa freshman year and since I am not playing football I shall devote more time to studies. Since honors classes provide a weighted gpa, over a 4.0 is not out of my reach. My number one is peddie, yet as a back up I am considering Hun. I live 1 hr away, should I board or be a day student? Any experiences with Peddie or Hun? I want to go to Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, or Brown for Pre-Med, so I need all the edge possible over other candidates for these schools. Thanks for your time! Would you reccomend Peddie or Hun for my junior and senior years?

  1. you should also consider blair academy where i am currently a 10th grader. We have an excellent academic program with a variety of choices. Are lax program is up and coming which would make you a staple in the team if you are extroadinarily talented or not. We are closely related to the Peddie School as we are rivals. You should check out the website at www.blair.edu

  2. I am also considering boarding/private schools. I am still chosing but I can tell you to visit schools.com because it have a alot of top notch boarding and private schools. Hun and Peddie are both on the list, so search them and I gaurantee you will find the school right for you.
