Boat Detailing?

How much would it cost to wax a 28 ft boat? I am detailing one tomorrow and I can't decide on a number to charge. The boat is nothing fancy and is in great shape.

The detailer at my marina charges $1100 to do a 33 ft Formula, $1800 to do a 38 ft Pursuit. Besides wax he also cleans and polishes the metal, vacs any carpet and cleans and treats the seats with protectant. If you do any part of that you should be around $400.

i would charge 150 dollars and thats a deal  take your time  its only the outside of the hull   right

i have detailed boats and cars before. For a 28 ft boat i would charge at least $250. but your the one doing the labor thats just my input

Well, it depends what are you doing?? are you polish waxing or compounding? .. if u say the paints still nice and glossy than compounding is prob not a necessity. Depending on the boat as well, it it a sport fisher or just a power boat? I would use a pure carnueba wax and a buffer.. dont use if not experienced! but if ure new at it charge anywere from 18-20 bucks per foot. dont forget to do the hull
