ok heres the story...... i went up to a lake to go fishin and we got the boat in and we started it right up no proublem when we went to idal of it stoped we could not get it to start or turn over again. i think we flooded it but we w8ed like an hour and same thing. we just had filled it up with gas and put new oil in it. well plz tell me what u think is wrong with it. if u need to know it is a maringer 75 ty

  1. Make sure that the motor is not in gear. If it is in gear, the motor will not turn over. I can't tell you how many times that has happened.

  3. "could not get it to start or turn over" -- sorry, the description of your symptoms is ambiguous

    What happens exactly when you turn the key - do you hear the solenoid click? does the starter motor spin?  does it engage the flywheel and turn it over at a normal rate of speed?

  4. Didn't put Diesel in it did you??? Take to the shop as it has issues>

  5. If it wont start or even turn over, it is a loose battery cable or a dead battery, or a bad solenoid, or the starter is hung up.
