Boat to Japan?

I HATE flying. I'm not affraid or anything I just can't sit still. I get really antsy & uncomfortable & I just HATE flying. I live in the United States in California. I'm moving to Japan to live with my husband. Is there any possible way I could take a cruise ship or a boat? are there passenger boats? It seem far fetched but I figured I'd ask.

  1. I've carefully read your question several times.  My advise is to fly, first class, on a flight that leaves late at night.  You'll arrive safe and reasonably sound, the next day.  It's a long, and I do mean long, boat ride that will drive you to panic long before you'd get there by boat.

  2. www.cruiseship.com

  3. can you swim?

  4. Hours verses days> look at cruise lines> on the web>

  5. There are cargo ships that will take a few passengers. Look in the LA or SFO  phone book yellow pages for passenger ships and also in cargo ships. They do not have the passenger activities that cruise ships have, so take a few books to read.
