Boat...train...car?

ok I know a plane is the fastest means of transportation...but what would be next train...car..boat

In France there is a train holding out world speed record.

And you can buy tickets on it. To reach speed above 400 kmph by car is not possible by passenger cars.

So train is the next

It depends on where you want to travel, but I would say that car is the next fastest, at least in North America.  That might not be true in Europe for example.  There is no simple answer to your question without considering a specific route.
