Boateng delighted with the win and hails the timing of his goal: UEFA Champions League news

Boateng scored a stunning goal in the 71st minute after http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 had put the hosts in front in the second half. The Ghanaian is delighted with the goal and believes that most important for him is the victory
for his side. Milan stay joint top of the Group H after picking up 7 points from three games played thus far.
The former Portsmouth star knows the importance of the win and believes that it will help them a great deal in finishing top of the group. The attacking midfielder praised the opposition for their tactics and admitted that they
did not give them many spaces to attack but despite that Milan played really well and created a lot of opportunities.

The former Tottenham Hotspur star is delighted with his goal and admitted that he tried similar efforts in the first half too but he finally got the reward. The 24-year-old welcomed the timing of the goal from personal point of
view and believes that it could not have come at a better time than this.
Boateng was under huge criticism from the media for his red card against Juventus recently and pundits said that he was not concentrating on his game.
"I tried my luck a couple of times in the first half and in the end I was very happy to score. I'm delighted with the goal, because before the game and last week there were some negative comments made about me and some doubts [suggesting]
I'm not focused on football."
Boateng is hoping that his team will carry their winning streak in the domestic league too, as Milan travel to Lecce for their next game on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011.
