The Bayern Munich defender is overjoyed with his team’s comfortable win over the Red Devils, and wants Takashi Usami to stay at the Allianz Arena.
Jerome Boateng is delighted to see his team back to winning ways as Bayern defeated Kaiserslautern by a comfortable 2-0 margin. The Fritz-Walter-Stadion outfit made a trip to the Allianz-Arena on Saturday, February 11, and the
hosts dominated the proceedings as Mario Gomez and Thomas Muller scored a goal each.
Gomez opened the scoring for the Reds in the sixth minute, taking his season’s tally to 18 goals. Muller extended his team’s lead in the 30th minute to seal a much needed three points for the Bavarian giants. Boateng
was also the part of starting XI, and managed to keep a clean sheet. The former Manchester City man was elated on not conceding a goal and also congratulated his fellow defenders for keeping their composure throughout the 90 minutes.
However, Boateng opined that Bayern could have scored more goals during the second period and rued some missed opportunities. He stated that his team performed exceedingly well, and wishes to maintain the same momentum in the upcoming
league games. While addressing sports website, Goal.com, the 23-year-old further added:
"We are content that we kept another clean sheet. We did not relax after the break. We got a number of chances to score more, and could have done better with those.”

one-year period.

any easier for the Japanese youngster.
The youngster has been in sublime touch for the club’s reserves side, but is likely to leave at the end of this term. Bayer, though, could sign the Japanese permanently by the end of this campaign as per the loan agreement.
"He [Usami] is a great guy and a good player. It would really please me if he stays at Bayern," Boateng concluded.
Bayern are currently two points short of Borussia Dortmund, who are leading the Bundesliga standings. The Reds will next play http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462 on Saturday, February 18, in a bid to secure their 15th win of the ongoing campaign.
The German giants have also made it to the semi-finals of the German Cup and will face Borussia Monchengladbach on March 20.
