but he can fit in other positions as well.
Talking to the reporters Boateng said, “My preferred role is trequartista and I’m enjoying it, albeit not for much longer. Coach Allegri already told me in future I’ll have to play in midfield, on the right or the left,”
The former Tottenham Hotspur star believes that Milan have become a complete team and have quality players in all areas of the game. However, still if any top player wants to join the Italian Champions, he would welcome him.
“I think our team is complete, so a new buy isn’t crucial, although obviously I don’t make those decisions. If a player arrives who can help us to win, then he’s very welcome. Competition is healthy for individuals and the group.
We have become a team now after our first year together.”
The former Borussia Dortmund star is pleased with the way he has started the 2011/12 season. Boateng scored the winning goal in his team’s 2-1 win over fierce rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, in the Italian Super Cup recently.
The attacking midfielder is looking to repeat his last season’s heroics in the upcoming season and wants to guide Milan to win the double of Serie A and UEFA Champions League next season. The Rossoneri have made his signing permanent
from Genoa earlier this summer.
