Boating question- docked in water?

There is a beach by my place where boats are docked in the middle of the water... I mean the water is only maybe shoulder high, but how do you get to them if you own one? Do you have to get wet and swim out to your boat? Because that would stink. Is there another way?

  1. The boats are at moorings or on anchors, and are gotten to by dinghy or another small boat. Or sometimes by swimming!


  2. A dinghy.  

  3. You use a tender or launch to ride out to your moored boat. Get someone to take you.

  4. Swim or use a dinghy/inflatable. Think using a smaller boat to get to the larger boat!

  5. Swim, dingy, or hitch a ride with somebody else.

  6. you would use a  tender  which is usually tied  up somewhere     frank

  7. Most people have a dingy, or another small boat used to get to the boat.

    If you like swimming to your boat have fun.

  8. Get a ride from another boater, or have a small boat and retrieve it.
