  1. No. If you look at a map you will see where Dover is situated on the south coast of England.  There would be no practical reason to sail there from Ireland.  Ferries leave rosslare for fishguard in wales or france.  They also leave dublin for hollyhead and liverpool. and Cork for Roscoff in France.

  2. No. The ferries from Ireland go to all sorts of places but not Dover.

  3. no

  4. No mate - there is nothing that goes direct from Ireland to Dover.

The two easiest ways are to travel from Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead or from Dublin Port to Liverpool, and then it is a 6+ hour drive from either of these to Dover. If you're not driving, the rail links from Liverpool to Dover are easier than from Holyhead to Dover.

  5. No there is no direct one. There are seasonal ferries from cork with Brittany ferries to cherbourg where you can then get cherbourg-dover or from rosslare to cherbourg with irish ferries and connect the same way. I travel to Holland quite a bit and get the fast ferry to fishguard out of pembroke and than drive down to dover. Hope this helps.
