Bob's Big Boy restaurants....?

Any left? Where? Are they still THE BEST?

Until recently we had a Bob's Big Boy at the rest stop on the New York Thruway between Newburgh and New Paltz.  It was gone the last time I drove north, along with the sign for Roy Rogers.  It's too bad, they were great hamburgers and made a really neat chuckwagon sandwich.  Had my first in Indiana.

There's a few around.  We had one that opened up up the street from us in Vegas then, went out of business a few months later.  Don't know what that was all about but they are still the BEST.  Their strawberry pie is to DIE FOR!!  Look at this

There is one on the way to Palm Springs (from LA) and there is one in Burbank/Toluca Lake, CA.  I understand that there are other Bob's in areas where they do not pay the licensing to be called Bob's Big Boys, but check it out online.  I still think their hamburgers, blue cheese dressing and hot fudge cakes are amazing.
