Top Rank’s promoter Bob Arum believes unbeaten Timothy Bradley is in good shape to fight Manny Pacquiao. According to the Hall of Fame promoter, Timothy Bradley had a sensational open workout session at the Indio Boys and Girls Club in California, and he
looked great in it.
Arum appreciated Bradley’s training session by saying “(he) is so confident, that it’s scary”. He added, “Bradley is absolutely 100 percent certain he is winning the fight. So far, from what I’ve seen, this will be the greatest possible fight.”
Timothy Bradley currently is unbeaten and he will be taking on the WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Bob Arum, who promotes Manny Pacquiao, believes that his fighter has everything to beat Bradley. However,
Arum says that Bradley looks superb and even though Manny has proven to be the best, his reputation is definitely on stake against Bradley.
Recently, in his interview Bradley said, “They may think that Marquez just has Manny's number, but whatever Marquez can do, I can do ten times better. He's great at counter-punching, and I'm devastating at counter-punching. My counter-punching ability is
unbelievable. I beat most of my guys on counter-punching.”
For now, Manny Pacquiao is in Los Angeles training at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym. Roach is confident that as always his fighter will make him proud. While most analysts believe that Manny Pacquiao have lost his stint, Roach thinks this is not the case.
According to Roach, Pacquiao was suffering from family issues due to which he was unable to put a dominating performance against Juan Manuel Marquez last year. Roach believes that Manny’s last fight against Marquez should not be the scale to judge his capabilities.
Roach has predicted that Pacquiao will knockout Bradley by the sixth round.
Both the pugilists are highly confident of winning the bout. Pacquiao believes that Bradley is a strong contender but he will beat him easily. On the other hand, Bradley believes that he is younger and speedier than Pacquiao which will be his points of advantage
over the Filipino.
