Bob Arum concerned about Manny Pacquiao’s change in personality – Boxing News
Previously, it was trainer Freddie Roach who claimed Manny Pacquiao has changed inside out, and now it is promoter Bob Arum. In his recent interview, Bob Arum showed grave concerns over a ‘change Manny Pacquiao’ saying that he is wondering what Pacquiao
will he see in the ring against Timothy Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao, who is currently training in the Wild Card Gym owned by Freddie Roach in Los Angeles, has become a completely religious person. He recent ripped off US President Barack Obama for his support for g*y marriages. Now, his promoter of Top Rank Bob
Arum believes Pacquiao has changed and it is a point to worry about.
According to Bob Arum, “Bradley is a terrific fighter. He's undefeated. He poses a tremendous challenge for Manny Pacquiao. And my problem is: what Pacquiao are we going to see? You have to understand, since the last fight in November, he has become a totally
different person. He's super religious. He does bible study every night. I get the impression that I'm promoting Rick Santorum [the one-time Republican Presidential candidate], not Manny Pacquiao. But be that as it may, who knows what effect it will have on
his ring ability on June 9?”
Manny Pacquiao is currently scheduled to face the unbeaten Timothy Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. At the moment, the Filipino is in rage and he wants to show the world his potential. After his bout against Juan Manuel Marquez last year,
most analysts believe Pacquiao has lost his stint. However, the Filipino pride believes it is time to show the world that he still is the most dominant fighter in the league.
Pacquiao will be defending his title against Bradley in a 12-round bout. If Pacquiao loses, this will be his career’s greatest defeat. The Filipino is also considering retirement, but he wants to face the unbeaten American Floyd Mayweather before hanging
up his gloves. If he is able to defeat Bradley, he will be close to his mega-bout against Mayweather next year or so.
