Friday, 22 July 2011, the world number one in doubles Bob Bryan disclosed through his twitter account that he and his wife (Michelle) were expecting to have a child.
Although the couple was not sure about the s*x of the baby they were excited about becoming parents and with enthusiasm he indicated the champion genes, Bob Bryan said, “This little baby could be your 2034 Wimby champ! Let you
know which division when Michelle and I find out”.
Bob married Michelle Alvarez a, an attorney in Florida, on December 13, 2010 at the North Miami Beach. The couple since then has had a wonderful life together and resides in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Upon their marriage, the
twin and also the world number one Mike Bryan had said, “It's official! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Bryan!"
Bon on the 29th of April 1978, Bob Bryan is an American male professional tennis player. He and his brother play doubles and make up the world’s number one doubles team. Bob has spent almost 200 weeks as the numero uno
player and has won eighteen Grand Slam titles out which eleven are in men’s double and seven in mixed doubles.
Bob Bryan along with twin brother Mike Bryan have held their position as world number one doubles team since the 16th of August 2010. Last year they had won eleven doubles titles and had a mind blowing year as they finished
as world number one doubles team for a record of six times along with a record of perfect eleven wins and zero loses in the finals.
This season they won their eleventh grand slam title at Wimbledon, London, against Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau. At the French Open they made it to the semi final where they lost to Juan Sabastian/Eduardo Schwank 6-7(4), 3-6.
However, they had bagged the first grand Slam of the season, the Australian Open. The twins will also be defending their title at the US Open in September, later this year. Together the Bryan bothers were named “ATP Team of the Decade for 2000-2009”, they
hold seventy three doubles titles, seven chronological Grand Slam Finals from 2005 Australian Open to 2006 Wimbledon, seventeen Davis Cup wins, and last but not the least, they are the only team to have won six hundred tour level matches.
With Bob and Mike as its father and uncle, the baby’s “gene-pool” will probably be overflowing with talent. Should the child follow its father’s footsteps, we may have another valuable addition to the next generation of tennis
stars.
