When I turn my hand wheel, and do as I should with the needle and thread, the bobbin thread does not catch. When the bobbin push-button is depressed, and the bottom piece below my bobbin is raised, the bobbin spins when I turn the wheel. When the bobbin push-button is not depressed, when the slide plate is closed, the bottom piece below my bobbin is lowered, and I'm ready to sew, the bobbin does not spin, so therefore, my bobbin thread cannot be caught by my needle. At least I think this is the problem. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
