HELP! I am a beginner and I just cant figure this out. My machine will sew like everything is ok but EVERYTIME I pull the item off the machine the only thread in the needle is the top thread. It looks like the bobbin thread is keeping up with the top thread but its just no longer in the needel. WHAT IN THE WORLD COULD THAT BE ABOUT???? ANY help would be so appreciated.

  1. The bobbin thread is never in the needle.  It comes up from the bobbin case thru a little hole in the platform part of the machine right under the needle.  So it sounds like maybe everything is working ok as long as the stitching looks good.

  2. Bobbin thread does not belong in the needle.... here's how a lockstitch (your machine) sewing machine works... notice that the only thread in the eye of the needle is the top thread.

  3. I can really appreciate your confusion here.  The bobbin thread and needle thread interlock, right?  When you start sewing the seam,  hold both bobbin and upper threads so bobbin thread doesn't wad up and give you fits.  The bobbin thread should always be on the bottom.  If you have any more problems, email me.  Always glad to help.
