Bobby holik on nj devils?

Yes, they need size and they got it, they need agresion, they got it, the devils were a bit soft last year, ad they had limited hits, but holik should brig a bit more of an edge that the devs were missing, and also, Zubrus, who had a very disappointing season last year, plays well with another bigger guy on his line, like with mike rupp, but holik brings that same style as rupp but with more talent

Of course.  He's a big forward with lots of experience on not only the Devils, but on other teams.  Holik's played with a few of the guys currently on the team, and he's great at faceoffs.  That's definitely going to help.

It definitely cant hurt....we added great size with Holik and Fedor Fedorov (if he makes the team) and great scoring with Rolston.  Also with a couple of youngsters coming up like Bergfors and Corrent the Devils look to be in a good position.

With that said Bobby Holik returns to a system he knowns and he had once thrived in.  He knows what it takes to play in Jersey and he knows what it takes to win as a Devil.  He knows the ego gets checked at the door and that you play for the logo on the front of the jersey and not the name on the back.   He has great size and will be like Zubrus by being a beast in the corners and at the front of the net.  Expect a lot of tip in and deflection goals from this guy inbetween laying out a few players.  He is going to add the grit and toughness the devils have lacked since the days of Dan-O and Stevens....he will do well and succeed

It can't hurt in any area other than the salary cap but yes I do think it will help, he is a solid player that has an ability to score and it never hurts to have a good player like that.

Holik's about done with..  he won't do much besides chippin in a  good 15 goals...
