Bobic’s future has been under widespread speculation in the last few months considering his current contract with the club expires at the end of the current season. Although there is high probability that he will sign a new contract
to stay with Die Roten, he has also been linked with a move to some of the other clubs in the league.
Stuttgart have had a mixed start to the season this term and currently sit in eighth place on the Bundesliga rankings table. The team has accumulated 22 points from the 17 games played with six wins and seven losses. The side’s

be discussed. He admitted that because of the ongoing season, there was not enough time to talk out everything.
“The chairman and I have agreed we will start to sit down at the beginning of this New Year. We will then discuss everything, things that look very important to me, calmly. We did not have enough time to do so in recent weeks and
months,” Bobic was quoted as saying in an interview.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart is linked with a move for Wolfsburg striker Srdan Lakic in the January transfer window. The player has fallen down the pecking order and has been unable to make a mark with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 since his free transfer
from FC Kaiserslautern in January last year.
“Srdan Lakic is a player who is looking interesting to me. But we would first have to know the details,” Bobic stated.
VfB Stuttgart will next play Schalke at the Veltins-Arena when they return from the winter break. The clash will take place on Saturday, January 21, as the visitors look for their seventh win of the season.
