Bobs Third likely to thrive in the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy – Heat 3
With his recent hat-trick, the R. Senior trained white and brindle dog, Bobs Third, will surely capitalise on his winning form and claim first position in the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy – Heat 3 that is scheduled to take place at Romford racecourse on Monday night, July 2.
The high-voltage Open Race over 400 meters will commence at 20:28 (GMT). After breaking from Trap 6, the two-year-old young and enthusiastic hound will compete against five strong rivals for the prize money worth £150.
Bobs Third, owns a glorious track record, but has never downed an OR race. Since, the beginning of the calendar year, the talented son of Montos Carhumore, out of Hanny Nanny, has accomplished a number of glaring feats so far.
The dashing dog bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs over 380 meters at Crayford in April, 2012, and followed up with winning three races in a row over 420 meters from May 31 to June 30 at Peterborough.
At the early stage of his career, the skilled hound registered some classic conquests. He staged a stunning debut with a tremendous triumph on November 25, 2011.
At the moment, Bobs Third is awash with winning momentum that augurs well for his tonight’s outing, which will be his OR debut. It is hoped that the maverick sprinter will feel quite comfortable on 400-meter course.
However, he will have to face some resistance from, Darver Bo Bo, who has had a great June. The C. Morris trained black dog elegantly bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs over 462 meters at Kinsley last month.
Earlier, the son of Brett Lee, out of Priceless Pearl, won three T3 races in a row from April 21 to May 5. He has participated twice in the OR category---the last one was held on May 21, 2012 and he finished third.
Since, the beginning of his career, the veteran hound has been winning with regular intervals. Thus, he sounds almost equally strong as, Bobs Third.
In this situation, there will be a tough tug of war between the two hounds. The event will be a rip-roaring one.
