Question:

Bodies Recovered from Flight 93?

I've been looking for any information indicating that bodies were recovered from the crash site. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, it's just something I've always wanted to know about. I recall reports only saying that remains would be sent to a lab in Maryland for analysis, but only as future reference.

Were there any bodies recovered from the site? And where can I find that information?

  2. The plane crashed in a field just outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania, about 150 miles (240 km) northwest of Washington, D.C., killing all 44 people aboard, including the hijackers. Many witnessed the impact from the ground and news agencies began reporting on the event within an hour. The plane fragmented and investigators found debris miles from the crash site, however the remains of everyone on board the aircraft were later identified. Subsequent analysis of the flight recorders revealed how the actions taken by the passengers prevented the aircraft from reaching either the White House or United States Capitol. A permanent memorial is planned for construction on the crash site. The chosen design has been the source of criticism and is scheduled to be dedicated in 2011.

A temporary memorial formed from spontaneous tributes left by visitors in the days after the terrorist attacks at the crash site.[93] Foundations across the country began to raise money to fund a memorial to the victims within a month of the crash.[94] Two years after the attacks, federal officials formed The Flight 93 National Memorial Advisory Commission responsible for making design recommendations for a permanent memorial.[95] A national design competition was held to create a public memorial in the Pennsylvania field where Flight 93 crashed. The winning design, "Crescent of Embrace", was selected out of a pool of 1,011 submissions on September 7, 2005.[96] The site plan features a large crescent pathway with red maples and sugar maples planted along the outer arc.[97] This design ran into opposition over funding, size, and appearance. Congressman Charles H. Taylor blocked $10 million in federal funds toward the project as he saw it as "unrealistic".[98] Republican Congressional leaders later persuaded him to acquiesce to political pressure and began approving some federal funds.[99] The proposed design has also attracted critics who see Islamic symbolism in the crescent design.[100] Construction for the permanent memorial is scheduled to commence in early 2009 once all 2,200 acres (890 ha) have been acquired and be dedicated in 2011.[93][100]

lots of people there all working on 9/11 theories.

the were no bodies. only parts that needed to be identified by DNA or dental records.

  5. Snarf got it right.  Even Rummy stated this.

  6. There wouldn't be any bodies recovered. The "bodies" (if that's even what you can all them, in all due respect) were charred remains of the passengers. They were in a jetliner filled with all that kerosene fuel that was flown straight into the ground. There wouldn't be much left of the people on the planes. Ashy remains, burned bits, simillar to what you would find in the bottom of your fire place, were scattered for several miles around the crash site. DNA analysis could ID who the people were. But there wouldn't be any actual bodies.
