Body Lotion Help? Thanks!

Question

So I have semi-dry body skin (it isn't as soft as it could be). Some of my friends use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly of their body and love it, but I heard it isn't actually very good for skin or the environment. Is this true?

And if any of you can recommend a good simple body lotion to soften my skin, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

I swear by Bath and Body Works body lotions, they have sales and at $5 a bottle they marvelous, in every scent available. Their sale staff are knowledgeable and can help you find the perfect lotion for your hands, arms, body, skin, nails, legs, and feet. I have the same body skin as yours well in fact, I had. Nope, I won't recommend Vaseline. The body lotions in the Nivea skin care range are really good so is Jergens. Another thing you can do is after taking a shower, while you're body is still damp, massage some olive oil. It'll leave your skin well moisturized, smooth and soft.
