I weigh 123 and im 5'3. I work out 5-6 days and 45-60 mins of cardio a day with weights 3 times a week. I don't understand why my body fat is high. Any suggestions? I think i look good and i feel great. I eat pretty healthy every 3 hrs to keep my metabolism. But how can i make it go down to least 20 percent? and why is my body fat percentage so high? I work hard but can never get it to go down. What do i do?

  1. just keep doing what ur doing. make sure to drink at least one gallon of water per day to boost ur metabolism. women have a higher fat % than men so dont be too worried about it. just recheck ur % once a month and u will see improvement.

  2. It's average.

But if you are working out this much and assume you are getting the right amount of protein, you'd think it would be a bit lower.

Maybe you should try less cardio and more weight training. Too much cardio can burn muscle, also not getting enough calories especially protein can cause muscle loss, thereby raising the body fat percentate instead of lowering it.

    Good luck.
