How soon can you know if your belly button is going to reject?

As soon as it begins to surface, meaning that the small layer of skin will begin to dwindle.  That's a major risk if this is the second you've had it done.

You don't know until it starts.

Your piercer should be able to look at your anatomy and tell you if you are a good candidate for a navel piercing. If you don't have much of a navel ridge, rejection is more likely.

Signs to look for: Constant redness around the exit holes. You see more and more of the bar poking out from the piercing. It always seems irritated, never heals
