Body styles of 06 and 07 mustangs?

Question

I'm looking to buy an 06 or 07 mustang towards the end of the month, can anyone tell me if there are any differences between the two body styles?

I've pretty much set on a v6. v8s have too much power.

No difference other than the year.  In that case its always better to get the one that is older.  Always remember to check to see which one is more beat up and has higher mileage. It's the repairs and replacements that you will have to do after you drive it off the lot.  That needs to be your real focus if anything else.

The difference between the 2006 and 2007 is that the 2006 had side airbags as an option. In 2007 they became standard equipment. Also optional Satellite radio in 2007. You will have a hard time finding side airbags in a 2006 - go with the same condition 2007 if given the choice. You should be able to find a nice 2007 with under 20,000 miles with rear spoiler and leather for around $14 - $15,000. Best of luck and have fun!

same body style. You might find some different features and some locations of certain buttons and controls moved due to customer complaints of hard to reach or use components.
