how often should one alternate bulking and cutting?

  1. if you wanna get real big.. try to focus on a lot of heavy weight less reps (3 sets of 8 about 80 - 100% of what you can lift) to build muscle mass and do a lot of maxing out. Once your as big as you wish to be, your next step os to stop the less reps more weight and do about 60% of your with more reps (5 sets of 15) to get cut and build definition but also keep you muscles the same mass but more cut.
