737s are the safest and most successful airliner flying! more than 6000 are in service around the world

I know there have been rudder servo issues with older 737 but ever since the the next gen of 737s like the 737-600, -700, -800, -900, not a single 737 has suffered a fatal crash.

And if you didn't, well now you know.

The NTSB fixed the issue a year after the series of events occurred and Boeing has made the necessary corrections.

It is the most popular airliner by quite a bit, ever since its introduction. That means it must be quite good. And it's made by Boeing. One of the best aircraft manufacturers in the world!

Yes its a good plane, it's had some crashes, but its crash ratio to the number of years its been flying is pretty good, so the 737 is a safe Airplane.

People used to ask me all the time if I was worried about having "all those peoples lives in your hands". I just told them I wanted to get home just as safe and sound as they did! If I made it, so did everyone else. 737, per hrs flown, one of the safest aircraft in the air.

Oh yea the 737 is one of the best built and safest airplanes in the Boeing fleet i have flown on them on countless occasions and they are the most comfortable planes i have ever been on

When our airline operated it in '89, I was saying it is the aircraft that will replace the C-47 or DC-3 which had been of use for 50 yrs.

2003- 2004, for 15 mos . we accompany this 737 classic as flight mechanic in Bangla desh, and as wet lease we do even the 'A' checks. we had no trouble except for bird strike and minor flight remarks. Don't ever believe the fool who says unless its a thirld world country cause it is still covered by FAA being the manufacturer is Boeing.

I will anytime ride this B737 and just awaiting my visa in UAE to be doing work again on this 737.

One of the safest. As long as it is not a third world airline operating it.

This is directed at the fool who called me a fool, regardless of how well a third world 737 is maintained, it does not matter if the crew in the front are not properly trained. Most jets that are put into the ground are fine, it is the people in the front who make the mistakes. And many third world countries have terrible safety records.

I know, I have been a crash investigator/instuctor in the military for the past eight years, one of my secondary duties as a fighter pilot.
