Boeing 747 in Kansas city international airport (MCI)?

Can the 747 fly in MCI?

Or has it just not yet happened?

And also does anyone know if MCI is going to be bigger and have more terminals and runways?

I haven't seen one there in a long time.  If there were, it would be for cargo only.  With the recession and economic downturn, I don't see KCI needing to expand.
