  1. yo amo colombia mucho, usted desea arepa y pandibono es muy beun.

i love colombia alot, you want arepas and pandibones there great!

  2. Moserrate on any day but the weekend is a fabulous place to get robbed. IF you are there on a weekday avoid Monserrate and go to the top of the Colpatria tower downtown  If the day is clear (good luck with that) the view is spectacular and then go to the Gold Museum. DONT BUY SOUVENIRS at the plaza there. WAYYYY overpriced. . Even though its h**l and gone from Downtown, go to Carbon de Palo on 106th and Avenida 19. The food is terrific. Right next door is the best place (IMHO) in the city to get souvenirs Be sure to go upstairs and look at the black pottey. Can only find in two places in the world. The Llama rugs are nice.. They have one, most of the time, with a great Chibcha on it. If you dont want to go all the way out to Carbon and you like seafood. Go to parque 93 and eat at Jaramillos. The ceviche is delicious. (its NOT cheap BTW) Across the park is Restaurant Renault (mix of foods) Or if you go near Andino Mall eat at Luna. The Italian food is the best. Amarti in Usaquen is good, too. (Best salad bar ANYWHERE)  It will take you 45 min to clear customs, change your money, and get out of the airport. 30 minutes to go downtown 2 hours to see the tower and the museum.. 45 more minutes or more to get out to Carbon and plan for 1 hour back and 1 hour min. to get back through (Especially international flights) security et al. Thats about 6 hours. 2 hour cushion. Id leave my self at least that.. you have to get a tax extension when you leave.. (Takes time but right by portal 6 most of the time) Also DO get the official taxi. Word of caution, if you dont speak Spanish.. most taxi drivers speak little English.. And never, ever, ever take a cab that isnt radio dispatched. As and alternative, IF you can get the driver to wait for you AND ONLY IF go up to the Mirador.. especially at night.. The food is good.. the dancing is wonderful.. and you can see the city..

  3. Guard your valubles during trek there especially during weekdays.

Coming in from out of country - are your bags checked through? If yes...possibly 1 hr immigration processing.

Go to the right when leaving customs area outside and go right again to get legal airport taxi at window. Ask for hourly rates. Hope you speak spanish.

Tell them you want to go to Montserrate and have driver wait and return you.

1 hour to get there...depending on traffic (DOT).

Maybe 1 hour wait (not likely on weekday) for Train or Tram.

2 hours wandering around and another hour eating.

    Another hour back (DOT).

Should be able to catch your flight. Hey if you miss it, you are in a nice place. Jump back in cab and head to zona rosa or parque 93 for a nice party and dancing.

enjoy-responsibly and safely-and watch your belongings

  4. Monteserrate and the Gold Museum, if during the day

Lot's of good clubs, if at night

  5. Take a taxi to Monteserrate and go to the top of the mountain.  This will give you a great view of the whole city.
