Boher Chieftain likely to lead the Grade OR The Owlerton Bookmakers 480 at Sheffield
Grade OR The Owlerton Bookmakers 480 will be held at Sheffield on 21st February, 2012. 6 hounds will be competing for the purse of £200.
The race line-up consists of:
Cavecourt Derry,
Droopys Victor,
Boher Chieftain,
Ballymark Milfred,
Loyal Legacy, and
Goodview Ted.
Cavecourt Derry, the son of Collision, out of Cooladerry Madam, is a young racer. He has potential and can show great improvement. His performances are encouraging and his trainer, J. Sharp, is pleased.
He finished in 3rd place in the Grade OR Owlerton Bookmakers Standard, at Sheffield, on 7th February, 2012. He was defeated by the more experienced runners like Stepaside Bigjak and Graigues Orchard.
Ballymak Milfred’s performance has also been showing a great deal of promise. The daughter of true Honcho, out of Ballymac Mir, whelped in 2009, finished in third place in his previous race.
Goodview Ted, son of Hondo Black, out of Wilderness Girl has been performing extremely well.
His trainer, J. Hayton, is extremely pleased with his hounds winning streak.
He triumphed over Memyselfand on 13th January, 2012, by 2 ¼ lengths.
He repeated this amazing performance on 27th January, 2012. This time he defeated Tricky Flinders by 6 ¼ lengths.
He defeated Nervous Fiddler, on 3rd February, 2012, by 3 ¼ lengths. All of these races were held at Doncaster.
Loyal Legacy, son of College Causeway, out of Previous, whelped in July 2009.
He finished the race in 5th place, at Swindon, on 8th February, 2012.
His next performance was remarkably improved as he finished the race in first on 13th February, 2012, at Nottingham. He defeated Rockview Impact by 4 ½ lengths on a 302 metre racetrack in 18.07 seconds.
Boher Chieftain, whelped to Head-Bound, out of Knock Princess, has not competed in any races but he is constantly training. This will be his first race, after four solo runs.
Droopys Victor, son of Droopys Vieri, out of Droopys Zara, finished 4th in his last race on 14th February, 2012, at Sheffield, in Grade D1 Opoa Bonus Race.
The winning odds in this race are predicting that Boher Chieftain, will lead the race, with odds of 6 to 4.
The second place victory will be awarded to Loyal Legacy, if he brings his best game forward. His odds of winning have been calculated as 3 to 1.
Droopys Victor and Cavecourt Derry may secure a finish in third place as they both have the same odds, which are 4 to 1.
