Boher Paddy eyes success in the Grade OR Williamhill.com Greyhound Derby 3rd Rnd Heat 5
Wimbledon will be packed on 12th May, 2012, as the Grade OR Williamhill.com Greyhound Derby 3rd Rnd Heat 5 is scheduled to take place there. The exciting race will feature six hounds, who will compete over a distance of 480 metres for £175.
Among these runners, Boher Paddy is expected to break all barriers, and race to the front of the pack.
The C. Lister trained hound will enter the race from trap 1 as a favourite with the winning shot of 11 to 10.
The son of Balintore Brave, out of Knock Princess, has already secured a hat-trick in his last three races, and a success in this race will give him his fourth on the trot.
The runner has a considerable amount of experience at Wimbledon, which is why he is expected to deliver a good performance here.
In his most recent victory, the black hound defeated the M. Wallis trained, Blonde Snapper, by 1 ¼ lengths and bagged the victory in the Grade OR heat 15 on 5th
May, 2012.
Whelped on 22nd October, 2008, the hound finished as a runner-up in his career maiden by 1 length to, Cashandcarrylen, over a distance of 305 metres on 24th May, 2010.
Bucks Blade, is another contender, who will be aiming to go through and through today, with the chance of 10 to 3 after breaking from trap number 2.
The son of Droopys Scolari, out of Mottos Dawn, will try to duplicate his magnificent performance at Wimbledon in the Grade OR Heat 5, which took place on 4th May, 2012.
With his brisk pace, the C. Lister trained hound landed the victory 1 length ahead of, Tyrur Justin in 28.54 seconds.
Since his career began, Bucks Blade has secured sixteen victories and will attempt to add another one to his record.
It seems like Lister’s hound are the best contenders, and both will be aiming to crush the competition with their speed. Boher Paddy looks in better shape and it seems that he will take the race today.
