Boher Paddy primed to perform well in Bettor.Com Semi-Final 1
Boher Paddy looks to be in the most favourable position to clinch top spot in Bettor.Com Scottish Derby 2012 Semi-Final 1 which is going to take place at Shawfield racecourse on Saturday, April 7.
By winning this high-profile Open Race over 480m distance, the C. Lister-trained black dog will complete his hat-trick along with qualifying for the final event.
The £250 contest is scheduled to start at 21:00 (GMT). Boher Paddy will face Mill Pegasus, Barefoot Allstar, Killieford Blaze and Droopys Cristian in the mega marathon.
The four-year-old dashing dog is on a hat-trick. During March-April 2012, he registered two epic back-to-back victories at the same track where he is set to show his guts tonight.
Since the dawn of 2012, the maverick runner has been enjoying great form. He also remained impressive during the last year.
In November 2011, the son of Balintore Brave out of Knock Princess won four races. Since making his debut in May 2010, the veteran hound has been a consistent winner.
At the moment, he is carrying a favourite tag which will help him make a big impact in the coming showdown. Boher Paddy’s chances to finish first are as high as 95 percent provided he does not mislay confidence.
Among the other runners, Killieford Blaze and Droopys Cristian are also likely struggle hard for success.
Killieford Blaze has also delivered some outstanding performances since the beginning of the calendar year. The J. Bateson-trained white and black dog marvellously finished first in his last outing on April 3. Prior to this, he had bagged a big triumph on
March 17.
On the other hand, Droopys Cristian accomplished a classic hat-trick during December 2011. The trainee of E. Parker moved forward to win two races in a row during February-March 2012. He also earned two runner-up ranks along with one more fantastic triumph
during the same month.
