Boher Paddy to crush his rivals in Betfred Steel City Cup - Heat 4
Bansha Mo looking solid in Betfred Steel City Cup - Heat 5
Charlie Lister’s speedy charge, Boher Paddy, is more than capable of blowing his rivals away, but needs to be on toes at the start in fourth heat of the Betfred Steel City Cup, taking place at Sheffield on Tuesday, July 31st.
The black dog returned to this track after presenting an excellent show at Nottingham, where he beat Mags Gamble by five lengths. The son of Balintore Brave was an unlucky loser in his recent appearance at Sheffield.
The hound got bumped twice in the beginning and as a result, his chances went down considerably. Nevertheless, Boher Paddy managed to finish among top-3. A fine beginning followed by a clean run will be enough for the dashing hound to grab the top prize
today.
The 500 metres flat race, holding a cash prize of £150, is scheduled to start at 20:13 GMT. Out of other runners, Bit View Royal looks to be the strongest one. E. Parker’s black and white dog had no luck lately, but if he gets a clean ride, it will be a
tough trip for the rest of the pack.
Elwick Ghost may be caught on the back foot early doors. Master Mac ran well in defeat here last week, but this is far from easy. Swift Example has the early pace to make a contribution.
Bansha Mo seems to be the most powerful runner in fifth heat of the Betfred Steel City Cup. H. Crapper’s trainee is a classy b***h, but needs to be careful in this race. The daughter of Scarty Lad was a comfortable winner in her last appearance here earlier
this month.
Mags Gamble will make things messy for Bansha Mo. The white and fawn dog was unlucky in his previous two races, but has the potential to win a race of this nature.
Stepaside Bigjak rarely fails to lead, when on top of his game. Droopys Betson needs to come up with something extra special in order to thrive.
Cavecourt Derry was a little disappointing in the recent runs, thus he cannot be trusted blindly. Duke Box Melody looks a speedy type, but has not delivered his best yet.
There are many dangerous runners in the crew, but Bansha Mo is the safest option for betting tonight. Good luck to all the runners.
