The Giallorossi striker has stated that the team has been working hard to put their fitness foundations in place, and believes that the American tour is a great pre-season exercise.
Bojan Krkic has expressed his excitement ahead of AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603’s tour of USA, and believes that the club is taking all the right steps to a great pre-season preparation.
The Giallorossi are set to travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390 for three friendlies thanks to their American owner, and will play in the cities of Chicago, Boston and New York to reignite their US fan base.
The capital outfit are en route to revamping their club after a dismal seventh place finish in the 2011-12 season, and have appointed Zdenek Zeman as their new coach to pick the club back in their upcoming campaign.
Bojan was adamant that that the Maggica have been working extra hard in their pre-season training, and stressed that the sweat is important to strengthen their fitness foundations before the start of the new season.
While talking to the press, the 21-year-old said:
“We’ve finished the first stage of our pre-season preparations and we think we've worked really well. It was hard but we all realise how important it is to lay the fitness groundwork for the season.”
The club’s American owner, Thomas Di Benedetto, was very clear when he took over the club in 2011 that he wants to rebuild the outfit’s American fan base.
Pursuing the same ambition the Giallorossi will travel to America to play three friendly games as part of their preseason training.
