The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 youth star will be spending next season in the Giallorossi stars and he is looking ahead to the upcoming season with renewed optimism.

Bojan transferred from Barcelona in the summer of 2011 with the hope of more first team opportunities. At Barcelona the young Spaniard saw his first-team chances thwarted by world-class strike force.
The youngster saw himself behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pedro-c29582 Rodriguez in the pecking order and felt it an opportune moment to leave the club to improve his personal development as a player.
The player transferred for a fee of 12 million Euros; the deal allowed Barcelona to take the player in the next two seasons. However, if http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 are to keep hold of the player after 2013, they need to pay another 28 million Euros.
During the first season, the striker was not a regular starter at the club and most of his appearances came off the bench. This led many to believe that the striker was not happy with his situation at the club, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Borini-c13163 was constantly selected ahead
of him.
However, following the departure of Borini and Luis Enrique along with the arrival of a new manager at the club has meant that the striker has renewed optimism ahead of the season.
A source close to the youngster went on to state that despite interest from various clubs, Bojan is willing to stay and fight for a place in the team. He further remarked:
“There were some teams interested. But Bojan has expressed a desire to stay. It can be an important year for him.”
Bojan has impressed so far in the American tour that the capital outfit are on, and his style of play falls in the philosophy of play adopted by their new manager, Zdenek Zeman.
The FIFA agent also remarked that there was absolutely no truth to rumours linking the youngster with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan. He further remarked:
“Were Inter looking at him? No, that was just rumours. He is ready at Roma – very strong and I think there are grounds to do well, both personally and for the team.”
It seems to be the last season of Bojan at the club, as it seems extremely unlikely that Roma would be willing to part with 28 million Euros for the player.
