http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bojan-Krkic-c7794 rules out a return to Barcelona if Pep Guardiola calls him back: Serie A news
A.S http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 striker, Bojan Krkic, has revealed that he would never go back to his former club, Barcelona, if Pep Guardiola called him.
Krkic joined the Giallorossi from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the summer transfer window for an approximate fee of 12-million-Euros. The Spanish Champions have placed a buy-back option in the player’s contract, which allow them the option to
re-sign him after the 2013/14 season.
The Spaniard is not happy with the treatment he got at the Camp Nou and has insisted that he will not return to his boyhood club even if they come calling. Krkic, who emerged from the youth setup at the Camp Nou, believes that
he would have been a much better player if he would have got more first-team opportunities.
While talking to the reporters, Krkic said, "If Guardiola calls me now I would not go back to Barcelona. I spent a long time without speaking to Guardiola. I could not find the right words when I used to see him. I do not think
I got what I deserved there."
The 21-year-old believes that the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League final snub pushed him closer to the exit doors at the Camp Nou and he was devastated by the manager’s decision not to play him in the game despite winning with a healthy
lead.
The Spanish international is happy with life in Rome and wants to become an integral part of Luis Enrique’s new system. Bojan added that he did not have any difficulties in settling into the Roma squad as he played the same type
of football at Barcelona too.
"I decided I would leave Barcelona on the night of the Champions League final [against Manchester United]. I knew I would not be a starter for Barcelona. Even when we were 3-1 up at Wembley the coach did not play me, from that
moment I knew he did not count on me." added the striker
The Spanish international scored his first goal for the Giallorossi in their previous league game against Atalanta last week.
